Plenty of forms, landlords and HR portals ask for one PDF, while what you have is a handful of phone photos of a passport, a receipt or a signed page. This tool places each image on its own page and saves them as one PDF in the order you set.
Does the image quality drop?
No. JPG images are embedded in the PDF as they are, without being re-compressed, so they look identical to the originals. PNG images are stored losslessly. The PDF ends up about the size of the images added together. Photos that rely on a rotation tag are turned upright first.
That also means a PDF built from twelve-megapixel phone photos will be large. If the upload form has a size limit, run the images through Compress Image or Resize Image first, or compress the finished file with Compress PDF.
What page size will I get?
With the page size on auto, each page takes the exact size of its image, so a portrait photo gives a portrait page and a landscape screenshot a landscape page. Choose A4 or Letter instead when the PDF will be printed or must look like a normal document: each image is then fitted onto the page without cropping or stretching, turned to landscape when that fits better, and you can add a margin of up to 50 mm.
Which formats can I use?
JPG and PNG, and also WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF and iPhone HEIC photos. Images with transparency are placed on a white background.
Are my files uploaded?
On this page the PDF is assembled in your browser with the pdf-lib library. Your images are not uploaded, so the files never leave your device. For identity documents, that is the safe way to do it.
What are the limits?
Free covers images up to 50 MB each and has no daily cap. Pro covers up to 500 MB. One PDF can hold up to 5 images without an account, 10 with a free account and 500 with Pro. If you want one PDF per image instead, use Image to PDF.

Can I add more pages to an existing PDF?

Can I add the images to an A4 document with margins?
Yes. Choose A4 and set a margin in millimetres.
Can the text in my photos be searched in the PDF?
No. The pages are images. Run them through the OCR tool if you need the words.
Why is one page sideways?
The photo was probably saved sideways by the camera itself. Rotate it with Rotate Image first, or fix the page afterwards with Rotate PDF.
